It’s true what they say — it’s all about who you know. For Awaken, that couldn’t have been more accurate. I got a call while living in Bozeman, having just made the short list for Shotover F1 Technicians. Next thing I knew, I was driving down to Austin, Texas to pick up a truck loaded with a Shotover rig, a range of cameras, lenses, and smaller gimbals. From there, I was sent across the U.S. to capture remote beauty and film the natural landscapes that make the western and southern states so unique.

Just a small part of a global production, this project taught me the real value of problem-solving, creativity, and perseverance.
